Holidazzle Village, located on Nicollet Mall from 12th Street to 10th Street, is free to the public and will give a fresh feel to the Holidazzle experience. The Holidazzle Village will include a variety of entertainment opportunities and festivities for all ages to enjoy throughout the season. Minneapolis Christmas Market, located at Peavey Plaza on the corner of 11th Street and Nicollet Mall, is modeled as a traditional open-air, German-style Christmas Market and will be the cornerstone of the new Holidazzle Village experience. The Minneapolis Christmas Market will be open daily from November 28-December 24 from 11 a.m.-9 p.m. There will be a small, one- time fee between $3-$6 to enter the Minneapolis Christmas Market, which will grant season-long access.

The year is 1979, the day of the church’s Centennial Celebration. Past parishioners have gathered to share hotdish, bars and stories from the last 100 years. As the women work in the kitchen, shared memories burst into life through a series of flashbacks. Travel back to 1897 and meet Vivian’s grandmother, one of the founding members of the church; see Karin as a newlywed, cautiously navigating her way through the politics of the kitchen; and be there in 1944 when Mavis first barreled her way through the swinging door. Meanwhile, the Centennial Celebration continues on the lawn in bittersweet fashion. Times are tough in this small farm community, and hard decisions will have to be made. Once again, the ladies handle it all with grace, hilarity and more crazy antics.
