Romance in the City

Day 1:

Check into your Burnsville hotel and prepare for a romantic Italian dinner at Buca di Beppo. Then be whisked away to downtown Minneapolis for an evening stroll across the Stone Arch Bridge, offering breathtaking views of St. Anthony Falls, the Mighty Mississippi, and Downtown. Finish your evening with a magnificent performance at the stunning Guthrie Theater.

Day 2:

After a quick breakfast at your hotel, spend the morning exploring the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, which features more than 1,000 acres of magnificent gardens, model landscapes, and natural areas. Enjoy a light lunch at the Arboretum Restaurant, before boarding the bus for an afternoon of fun!

It’s off to Minneapolis to spend an afternoon at the ballpark, where you will not only catch a Twins game at Target Field, but you will also get a tour of the new state-of-the-art facility. Return to your hotel to freshen up for a fine dining experience at Porter Creek Hardwood Grill, a 2011 winner of a Readers’ Choice Award, voted “Most Romantic Restaurant in Burnsville.”

Day 3:

Proceed this morning to the Science Museum of Minnesota in St. Paul, where you will fall in love with stories of the sea in their newest exhibit, “Real Pirates.” On your way to the museum, stop at Minnehaha Park, one of the most popular places in the Twin Cities for proposals, where you will see a 53-foot waterfall, limestone bluffs and Mississippi River overlooks. No visit to St. Paul would be complete without a ride on the famous Padelford Boats, so you will complete your day with a relaxing Sunset Dinner Cruise down the Mississippi before heading back to Burnsville for the night.
