You know how the saying goes…”While the men are away, the girls like to play!” This itinerary is perfect for a girls’ getaway trip over the hunting or fishing opener weekends or just because. It’s complete with terrific shopping, dining, and entertainment, as well as wine and of course chocolate!

Girls' Weekend Getaway

Day 1:

Arriving at your Burnsville Hotel, you will freshen up and depart for Crofut Winery, where you will enjoy Fun with Wine, a class where you will learn to pair food with wines.

Day 2:

Begin your day with shopping at over 520 stores at the Mall of America®. Afterwards, return to Burnsville where you can do even more shopping at Burnsville Center, a regional shopping mall. Head back to your hotel to relax before an lovely evening complete with dinner and a show at Chanhassen Dinner Theatres.

Day 3:

What girls’ weekend would be complete without some chocolate? Make your first stop today at Abdallah Candies. Here, you can see how their famous hand dipped chocolates are made, try a few samples, and even pick up some for the road. Next, shop for great home décor and gifts at Ficus & Fig or Touch of Home Furnishings. After a festive lunch at TGI Friday’s, it’s off to the Autumn Festival, an Arts and Crafts Affair at Canterbury Park in Shakopee. Wind down your day with dinner, drinks and some belly dancing at Mediterranean Cruise Café.
